The mission of IESC is to promote the non-partisan evaluation of the electoral process, study and dissemination of the best practices in election administration, legislation and rules based on international standards.
The IESC cooperates with and assists citizens’ election observation in the countries of the Eastern Partnership and in the Russian Federation, in order to improve the professionalism of domestic election observation throughout Europe and increase the visibility of findings of domestic election observation nationally and internationally.
IESC experts participated in election observation missions to Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, Germany, Estonia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, and other European countries.
